In my mind, I'm thinking of the "eighth day" as entering the covenant relationship with God through circumcision (Old Testament). I have read his book, "Your Best Life Now". Great points to help us live up to God's expectations, not ours!!

I would call, Joel, a minister of the Lord Jesus Christ than a pastor. :) Of course, alot of churches have a only one "pastor" that leads the whole church and makes all the decisions. Therefore, this isn't biblically-sound! Biblically, every church ought to have at least a couple of elders (pastors/overseers) and ministers/evangelist..
Always be on guard for words, names and all that contradicts itself with the Bible. :)
