Here it is!! Isn't this an exciting time to come together and remember that the Lord has risen!! Well.. We remember Him everyday!! It's better that way than just simply be a holiday-seeker, those who come to worship God only on Christmas and Easter. This isn't God's plan for our life. God wants us to worship Him with, may I emphasize this, our "ALL"!! All of our heart, mind, soul and strength!! We owe Him because He gave us Jesus... "BECAUSE WE SINNED AGAINST HIM AND HE HAS GIVEN FOR THE PROPITIATION OF SINS!!"
"And He said to him, " `YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND."This is the great and foremost commandment. '" Matthew 22:37-38 (nas)
"Jesus answered him, "It is written, `YOU SHALL WORSHIP THE LORD YOUR GOD AND SERVE HIM ONLY.' "" Luke 4:8 (nas)
That's why we worship God! Jesus came and lived. He died on the cross for you and me, buried and then rose from the grave and has gone into the sky to return home!
"We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. If we have been united with him like this in his death, we will certainly also be united with him in his resurrection." Romans 6:4-5 (niv)
If you're living a faithful life in Christ, you will, someday soon, certainly be united with Him in His resurrection. Because of His resurrection, that He conquered death, we will be raised into the newness of life for eternity!
