Dawn And Sunset Shouts For Joy

"They who dwell in the ends of the earth stand in awe of Your signs;
You make the dawn and the sunset shout for joy. "

Psalm 65:8 (nas)

This was actually taken this beautiful cold morning!! The temperature was a record December temp of 13 degrees in Leesburg, Virginia!!! As I gazed out of my front door, I simply forgot how cold it was and just took this awesome display of God!! This brought warmth to my soul and I, as always, know God is powerfully alive!!!

Holly,

I certainly will do that!! :) One of the advantage of this is we now live on a higher ground. Leesburg is actually on a hill. :) And I am sure God will paint more in His sky for me to sit back and breathe!

In Christ Alone!

Then God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. Genesis 1:3

God set these lights in the heavens to light the earth

Mark, this is a beautiful picture. We should be thankful to have cameras, especially the digital kinds, to capture God's most beautiful creations as they appear before our eyes and immediately share them with the rest of the world. I have always enjoyed sunrises and sunsets whenever I get a chance to see them. I can stare at the sights for HOURS and receive its healing and spiritual effects. This makes me remember my days of very active bicycling about 9 years ago when I biked to work in the mornings, and biked back home at nights .. I used to bike along the W&O trail from Vienna, Va to Washington, DC in the mornings, and then and back to Vienna during rush hour. The sights along the Potomac River when the sun went up and down were just beautiful.
