Fourteen!

Our daughter, Amanda, just became fourteen yesterday (1/19)! Fourteen years ago, we remember the time when Michelle was having strong contractions and it wasn't a good time to have a baby. We were living in Missouri and on that morning, the city was under a blizzard warning! It was a scary trip to the hospital. Normally, it would take us 20 minutes to get the the hospital but it took approximately 45 minutes. But, thanks to the Lord, we managed to get to the hospital where Amanda was born.

We pray that the Lord will continue to bring her up and live her life through spiritual successes. May God bless her!

Shout!

Good news that made me want to SHOUT! Our daughter, Alyson, led the chorus of lil angels in singing that song in front of hundreds of people! They all did an awesome job. Our other daughter, Angela, had her own role as a "Time Traveler" during last year's (2009) Christmas production at the Overland Park Church.

By the way, I think I am back much earlier than expected. Now, you may notice the new blog title. I've used the "Nike Formula Blog" for years and have decided that it is time for a change. Don't we all need a change or two every now and then?

Welcome to "SaintBlog". My focus will be on all the saints of God within our deaf and hearing community and the world sharing how we can overcome obstacles in our walk with God, better give God the glory He deserves, why our growth have plateaued or even worse, declining, and many other issues. If you have an article, or a photo that would benefit us on "SaintBlog", feel free to email them to me.

Our every day goal is to increase our "fear" (respect) for the Lord. When we give Him all the love and respect He deserves, He guarantees us that we LACK nothing whether it be on earth or in heaven or both!

Until next time! Fear the Lord!
